After stumbling across the derelict garden of a closed hotel in the old city of Zadar, Croatia in 2004, we set about turning this amazing location on the Dalmatian coast into what it is today.

The feeling you get as you walk through the natural tree tunnel entrance into the main area is one of open space. When looking for a spot to sit and relax you are spoilt for choice. The 30 m seating wave and its beds offers a great view over the city walls and on to the harbour. If you go for one of the many sofas within the Garden they will all offer the same comfort whether in the sunshine, dappled shade or, after sunset, under the stars.

The individually zoned sound system will ensure quality audio to all areas, with the ability to control the EQ and volume to each separate zone……… this is of course very important when it comes to enjoying the soundtrack provided by one of the top international guests invited to play for the evening.

What’s new??
The Garden Zadar is entering in to its 5th season and it has gone from strength to strength. The 2500 sqm Garden sits on top of the ancient Venetian city walls within the old town of Zadar and this year it is to undergo a little face lift.

The stone terrace sofa area is to be turned into two private cabanas, where visitors can lay back watching the infamous blood red sunsets, sipping on one of the many cocktails from the extensive menu.

There will be four more cabanas at the opposite end of the Garden where that same intimate ambience can be had by all those choosing to relax there under the trees. All cabanas will have there very own waitress to ensure the highest quality prompt service.

Other changes you will notice are the new LED colour change lighting system, the adaptation of the water
feature to create another seating wave and new architectural planting.
